I was hoping I could have some explain to me how to do the animation from this icon:


Pretty much, I'm wanting to have someone pop-up in my current icon. I'm using PS CS4.

Here's a subtle coloring technique I came up with today. I tried to make it translatable to other programs, so the effects I use are pretty simple.

Go from this: to this:

Program: Photoshop Elements 4 (Noo I don't have that cool selective coloring.)
Steps: Six
Difficulty: Easy
Translatable: I should hope so. It may take some tweaking.
PSD: No
